Castles, Coastlines, Culture & Unforgettable Irish Moments

Ireland isn’t just a place you visit—it’s a place you feel.
It’s where ancient legends meet dramatic landscapes, where history lives in stone walls and castles, and where every conversation feels like a story waiting to be told.

This journey is carefully designed to immerse you in the very best of Ireland—balancing iconic landmarks with authentic, meaningful experiences you simply couldn’t create on your own.

Your journey begins as you depart for Ireland. As you travel overnight, anticipation builds for the rolling green landscapes, centuries-old castles, and vibrant culture that await you.

Arrive in Dublin and meet your expert driver-guide—your storyteller and local insider for the journey ahead. Begin exploring this dynamic capital city, where Viking origins, medieval history, and modern Irish life blend seamlessly. See St. Patrick’s Cathedral, founded in 1191, where writer Jonathan Swift once served as dean. Inside, discover centuries of Irish religious and literary history. Drive through the vast greenery of Phoenix Park, one of Europe’s largest enclosed parks—home to wild deer herds and the residence of Ireland’s president. Travel along O’Connell Street, the historic heart of Irish independence, where monuments commemorate key figures in Ireland’s struggle for freedom. Then enjoy time on Grafton Street, alive with musicians, boutiques, and the unmistakable energy of Dublin life. Later, immerse yourself in Ireland’s most famous export at the Guinness Storehouse. Learn how this iconic stout is brewed, transported, and transformed into a global symbol of Ireland—and enjoy panoramic views of the city from the Gravity Bar. Check in to The Gresham Hotel. Dinner at the hotel. (B, D)

Today reveals the deeper story of Ireland—its culture, faith, and fight for independence. Visit the Book of Kells, a masterpiece of early medieval art created by monks around 800 AD. Its intricate illustrations and symbolism reflect both religious devotion and extraordinary craftsmanship. It is housed in the breathtaking Long Room, lined with ancient books and considered one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Continue to Kilmainham Gaol, a stark and powerful site that tells the story of Ireland’s struggle for independence. Walking through its cold stone corridors, you’ll hear the stories of revolutionaries who were imprisoned—and in some cases executed—here, making it one of the most emotionally impactful visits of the tour. Optional Experience: Visit the Jameson Distillery Bow St., where you’ll uncover the craftsmanship behind Irish whiskey and enjoy a guided tasting. (Additional cost) Return to The Gresham Hotel. (B)

Journey south to Waterford, Ireland’s oldest city, founded by Vikings over 1,100 years ago. Visit the House of Waterford Crystal, where master artisans continue a centuries-old tradition of handcrafting some of the world’s finest crystal. Watch as molten glass is transformed into intricate works of art through skill, precision, and time-honored techniques. Then experience Ireland’s natural beauty firsthand with a horseback ride along the scenic coast near Tramore. Feel the Atlantic breeze as you ride through open countryside—a peaceful and unforgettable connection to the land. Check in to Tower Hotel Waterford. Enjoy a three-course dinner at a local restaurant. (B, D)

Visit the dramatic Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland’s most iconic historic sites. Rising high above the plains, this ancient fortress was once the seat of the Kings of Munster before becoming a powerful religious center. Legend tells that Saint Patrick baptized a king here—cementing its place in Irish history. Explore its cathedral, chapel, and round tower while taking in sweeping views of the countryside. Enjoy free time in Tipperary, where the slower pace of rural Ireland invites you to relax and soak in the atmosphere or do some genealogical research. Return to Tower Hotel Waterford. (B)

Travel through Conor Pass, one of Ireland’s highest mountain roads, offering breathtaking views of lakes, valleys, and distant ocean horizons. Upon return, participate in some traditional Irish music tonight in Dingle Town, known throughout the country as a TRAD hotspot. Return to Dingle Skellig Hotel. (B)
